It is a 7 day diet and you must have the soup at least once a day but it is your main meal for the 7 day period. You can add certain things to your meal during the day as specified in the instructions.

There's a slightly longer diet called the Grapefruit Diet. Again, you must follow the instructions. Grapefruit is your main staple for every meal but the diet does allow certain other foods for a little variety. Obviously, you must like grapefruit to use this diet. It is a 12 day on and 2 day off diet if you want to do it for a longer term.

There's a 2 day diet that claims you can drop up to 8 pounds in 2 days. It's called the Hollywood diet. There is a specific recipe you have to blend together and drink and that is your only source of nourishment for the 2 days.

If you want to be very harsh on your body, try the Lemonade diet. It's a cleansing diet and helps you start losing weight fast as well. You only consume small quantities of a specially-made lemonade recipe, an herbal tea and a salt flush for a 10 day period. The claim is a loss of 10-20 pounds. It's crucial that you consult a doctor and a dietitian before trying any of these drastic diets because there can be some serious side affects.

These are just a few ways you can lose weight fast. As with everything related to your health, seek advice before starting and if you have problems, stop immediately and see a doctor because your health is too precious to risk on a dangerous diet.
